Moderator: Ziad Said
Ziad is a partner with KPMG’s Financial Institutions practice and an integral part of the firm’s Asset Management practice. Ziad has more than 14 years of experience working on the audits of large asset managers, banks, trust companies, private equity and hedge fund clients. He has extensive knowledge of the investment management industry, financial and regulatory reporting and compliance in both Canada and the U.S. He also has experience in securities offerings and capital market transactions.

Ikram Al Mouaswas
Ikram is a Senior Manager at Deloitte Toronto’s audit and advisory group, specializing in commodity mining companies. She started her career with Deloitte as a fresh graduate in 2006, and obtained my CA designation in 2009. As an auditor and advisor, her job has taken her to remote and interesting locations, including the Northwest Territories, Northern Ontario, SriLanka and India. Ikram is a coach and mentor to several individuals and is highly involved in learning programs at Deloitte. She presents and facilitates learning programs across the continent, having both an IFRS and US auditing and accounting standards’ accreditations. She is one of the leads of her group’s HR team, and is significantly invested in recruiting activities at U of T St George, acting as one of the leaders of the recruiting team on campus
Loutfi Mouaket is an Executive Director in the Equity Markets Sales Trading team at CIBC. Mr. Mouaket joined CIBC in 2008 from TD Newcrest where he spent six years as an institutional equity program trader. Throughout his time at CIBC, Mr. Mouaket’s various reponsibilities have included traditional sales/trading, event driven and program trading, ETF market making, market structure/index research and technology initiatives for the trading desk, and liability trading the materials book. He has held similar roles at ITG Canada and Scotia Capital. Mr. Mouaket was a Co-Head of the Trading Issues Committee for the Canadian Security Traders Association in 2010 and 2011 (an association representing the equity traders in Canada), and was an elected governor on their board for 4 years. Mr. Mouaket is also on the executive committee for the Fight for Independence, an annual bay street boxing event that raises money for Sick Kids and the Nazareth House. Mr. Mouaket holds an Honors BSc. in Science and Business from the University of Waterloo.
