Brady Wood

Brady is a trusted communications leader, known for assisting organizations through difficult reputation challenges. As Chief Communications Officer at Niagara Health System, Brady is a key leader in the organization's ongoing reputation recovery. A member of the organization's Executive Team, Brady is the lead for both the Communications and Patient Relations teams. Previously Brady held leadership roles at St. Joseph’s Health System, St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, and with the St. Joseph’s International Outreach Program in Haiti and Uganda. Brady has also been a member of Ministerial review teams in Ontario, examining and aiding challenged hospitals across Ontario for consecutive Ministers of Health. Currently enrolled in the Masters of Communication Management program – an Executive Education degree offered by the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University in partnership with the Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University – Brady also holds degrees from Western University Canada and from York University.


Cathy Katrib-Reyes

For the past 15 years, Cathy has held a variety of positions in media and culture, including within public, private and non-profit sectors. Currently, Cathy is the project manager in CBC News management where she’s helped launch several digital stations across Canada and is a member of the CBC News 2020 Strategy team. Cathy is also chair of the CBC President’s award-nominated “Make it Better” committee, an incubator project that develops and executes new initiatives to build innovation, collaboration and increase engagement within the news team. 

Prior to working in news, Cathy was a project manager in Communications, Marketing & Brand at CBC where she was the communications lead on the launch of “Live Right Now”, a Gemini-nominated multi-platform health campaign working with partners such as ParticipACTION, Dietitians of Canada and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. 

Before coming to CBC, Cathy was Manager of Industry Programming at the Toronto International Film Festival where she produced over 30 live high-profile industry events featuring talent such as Neil Young, Mark McKinney, Jim Jarmusch, Robert Altman, Terry Gilliam and Julie Taymor. 

Cathy is an active volunteer mentor at CultureLink where she helps newcomers break employment barriers. 

Cathy graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications Studies from the University of Windsor and holds a Project Management Certificate from Ryerson University.

As Account Director for the international agency Lintas, Karim wins many awards for his integrated and holistic retail campaigns that reach efficiently the buyer in all points of contact. As Group Marketing Manager and Shopper Marketing Director for Procter & Gamble, Karim shows great analytic and strategic rigor, which can be equalled only by his thirst for short and long-term results. 

Today as entrepreneur, Karim has set the stage for SVM; a below the line agency, to move to another level. SVM was recently acquired by Match Marketing Group, North America's largest integrated shopper marketing and brand engagement agency.

Lina Duque

Lina Duque is a recognized Social Media Strategist and Speaker whose writings have appeared in publications such as Forbes and the Globe and Mail. She is an advisor to senior executives and entrepreneurs on social media, personal branding and thought leadership. Lina is a Social Media Coach with the Ivey Business School at Western University, where she helps Executive MBA participants and alumni leverage social media tools and platforms to advance their careers. In her role as Advisor with the Digital Media Zone business incubator at Ryerson University, Lina consults with entrepreneurs on social media, marketing strategy and media relations. She has presented at various organizations, including the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, International Association of Business Communicators and ICBC, the world’s largest bank. Lina has an Executive MBA from the Ivey Business School.
