Fayçal El-Khoury is a Lebanese-Canadian engineer and Member of Parliament for Laval—Les Îles, elected in 2015. Born in Lebanon, he immigrated to Canada in 1976 and earned a civil engineering degree from Concordia University. He founded a residential construction company and later worked as a business consultant helping Canadian firms build trade relations with the Middle East. In Parliament, El-Khoury chairs the Subcommittee on International Human Rights and serves on the Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration. He is a strong advocate for immigrant integration, human rights, and strengthening Canada’s global partnerships.
