The Honourable Ziad Aboultaif is a Lebanese-Canadian entrepreneur and Member of Parliament for Edmonton Manning, first elected in 2015. Before entering politics, he co-owned and managed a successful furniture distribution business in Edmonton. In Parliament, he has served as Official Opposition Critic for National Revenue, Shadow Minister for International Development, and Shadow Minister for Digital Government. Aboultaif is a strong advocate for organ donation, having donated a portion of his liver to his son in 2003, and has introduced legislation to create a national organ donor registry. His commitment to public service and community health has earned him multiple honors, including the Alberta Centennial Medal and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal.
