The Arab Canadian Pulse is a flagship initiative of the Canadian Arab Institute, combining an annual report with a national knowledge-sharing forum to highlight the diverse contributions, needs, and policy priorities of Arab Canadians. By bringing together organizations across the country, it creates a collaborative network, strengthens advocacy, and offers a trusted, credible voice on Arab Canadian issues.

Arab Canadians telling their own story

The REPORT

COMING APRIL 2026!

  • Coming April 2026! The Arab Canadian Pulse Report will strive to highlight the contributions, milestones, and needs of the Arab Canadian Community in its diversity.

  • A Canada-wide map of Arab-serving and Arab-led organizations, offering a clear snapshot of who is doing what, and where, across the country. It highlights the diversity of sectors where Arab Canadians are active, from culture and business to social services and advocacy. This living resource strengthens visibility and helps build connections across regions.

  • An overview of the year’s key milestones, events, and achievements that shaped the Arab Canadian community. It captures highlights from cultural festivals, advocacy campaigns, and civic participation. Together, these moments reflect both the challenges faced and the collective progress made.

  • First-hand narratives and case studies that showcase the lived experiences, creativity, and resilience of Arab Canadians. These stories bring to life the people and organizations driving change, reminding us that data alone cannot capture the richness of community life. They highlight everyday leadership, innovation, and solidarity across the country.

  • Evidence-based insights combining census data, policy analysis, and community research to identify contributions, needs, and gaps. This section offers a credible foundation for advocacy and policymaking. By connecting numbers with lived realities, it ensures decisions are grounded in both evidence and community voices.

  • Trends, recommendations, and shared priorities to guide future action and policy for Arab Canadians nationwide. It outlines emerging opportunities for collaboration and highlights areas where change is most urgent. This forward-looking vision invites policymakers, organizations, and individuals to join in shaping the next chapter.
